From the website of of the Avoca Football Netball Club: Senior Football History
The Avoca & District Football Association was formed in 1910 with five teams competing: Avoca, Amphitheatre, Redbank, Elmhurst and Homebush.
At the end of the season the Grand Final was between Elmhurst and Avoca.
The match was scheduled to be played at Elmhurst, which concerned Avoca, because Elmhurst had not been beaten at home during the season.
In a nail biting match, Avoca ran out winners by four points.
Avoca’s Best: Ahpee, Wiltshire, Beavis, Doodt, Harrison, McAllister, Rohde, Studd, Yates, Summers.
Unfortunately local newspapers have not been digitised for this period and there is no newspaper report of the match.
